Build Sub-Mission

Mission 1E · Mission Outcomes & Learning

Make Mission outcomes and learning visible so the Pilot can see what happened, what changed our understanding, and what should carry forward into future decisions or Missions.

CALM · Operational Observation

Outcomes & Learning · V0

A completed action is not yet a learning

This first anatomy separates what reality actually produced from our interpretation of it and from what, if anything, deserves to influence future Missions.

Outcome · What happened?

Record the observable result after a decision, Pass, experiment, or Mission—not merely that the activity was completed.

Learning · What changed?

State what the outcome changed about our understanding, assumptions, confidence, or judgment.

Carry Forward · What should persist?

Identify knowledge worth preserving for future Missions while keeping its source, context, and uncertainty visible.

Learning rule

One outcome may update understanding. It does not automatically become doctrine, policy, or a universal rule. Reuse should remain traceable to the evidence that earned it.

V0 boundary

Use existing Mission evidence, decisions, and Flight Log history first. No new Outcome Registry schema is required until real use proves that the current records cannot preserve the learning we need.

Progress

Outcomes & Learning V0 is live in production and the first implementation Gate has passed. It separates observed outcome, learning, and carry-forward implication without adding a new registry schema.

Current Gate

Observe whether real Mission outcomes can be captured clearly using existing evidence, decisions, and Flight Log history.

Next authorized action

Use real outcomes to test the V0 anatomy and only add new persistence structures if current records prove insufficient.

Pilot authority

No Pilot approval currently required. Work remains inside the authorized envelope.

Authorized scope

What this aircraft is carrying

Observed outcome: what actually happened
Learning: what changed our understanding
Carry-forward implication: what future Missions should remember
Link learning back to evidence and decisions where already available
No new Outcome Registry schema in the first pass
No automatic doctrine changes from a single outcome

Governance

Independent flight, visible dependencies

Evidence Before Expansion applies to this sub-mission independently. A Gate here does not stop another FD Build sub-mission unless a real dependency requires it. Parent Mission 1 remains the cockpit view for the whole build fleet.
